SolX Technologies has facilitated a landmark energy deal between EVO Energi and One Stop Warehousing Solutions, Inc. (OWSI), cutting electricity costs and setting a new standard for energy procurement in the logistics sector.

SolX Technologies Inc. has formalized its first Retail Supply Contract (RSC) with EVO Energi Inc., a new player in the competitive retail electricity space, bringing significant cost savings to OWSI, a subsidiary of Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics.

The contract was signed on March 11, 2025, after a data-driven procurement process via the SolX Digital Demand-Supply Matching (DDSM) Platform. The platform enabled OWSI to compare offers from licensed Retail Electricity Suppliers (RES) and select the most cost-effective and flexible option.

With the partnership in place, OWSI began sourcing electricity from EVO Energi on March 26, 2025.

Matt Tan, COO of SolX Technologies, said the partnership underscores the impact of digital procurement tools in delivering value to businesses.

“This partnership highlights the power of competition and transparency in unlocking real value in energy procurement,” Tan said. “We are proud to work with EVO Energi to provide OWSI with a resilient, cost-effective energy strategy.”

The agreement marks EVO Energi’s first public contract as a licensed RES since entering the market in late 2024.

Julian Lao, President of EVO Energi and representative of the Lao Group of Companies, said the deal validates the company’s potential in the retail electricity space.

“Being selected through SolX’s platform for this high-impact engagement with OWSI is a strong vote of confidence in EVO Energi’s capabilities,” Lao said. “Our goal is to help businesses not only reduce costs but also gain flexibility and control over their energy future.”

Edgardo Apitana, Chief Procurement Officer of OWSI, meantime said the partnership allowed them to adopt a smarter, long-term approach to electricity sourcing.

“Our partnership with SolX Technologies has transformed the way we approach energy procurement. Their expertise in energy portfolio management and market intelligence enabled us to secure the best available rates while ensuring long-term cost stability,” he said.

EVO Energi brings manufacturing expertise through its affiliate D&L Industries, reinforcing its commercial edge in the power market.

SolX continues to push for technology-driven energy contracting solutions across industries.

Through its digital procurement tools, SolX is enabling more companies to access lower power rates, better contract terms, and greater flexibility in how they source electricity.

This deal also shows how energy procurement can move beyond cost savings and support a company’s broader sustainability goals.
