EVAP highlights growth of Philippine EV market as AITO opens BGC Experience Center

The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) congratulated AITO on the inauguration of its new BGC Experience Center on December 10, marking a key step in the country’s expanding electric vehicle ecosystem.

Operated by multi-brand distributor QSJ Motors, the 330-square-meter showroom in Bonifacio Global City features AITO’s luxury electric SUVs—the M5, M7, and flagship M9—alongside premium amenities such as a snack and coffee bar, lounge areas, and a merchandise corner. The center is built to AITO’s global standards, showcasing up to four display and test drive units, aimed at engaging the metro’s upwardly mobile motoring public.

“This inauguration is not just about opening a new showroom—it is about widening the path toward an electrified future for Filipino motorists,” said EVAP President Edmund Araga. “AITO’s commitment to innovation, premium design, and advanced EV technology strengthens the local EV ecosystem. Their new BGC Experience Center sets a benchmark for how brands can elevate customer engagement and confidence in electric mobility.”

All AITO vehicles sold locally come with a 3-year/100,000-km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000-km battery warranty for both battery electric and range-extended EVs, providing buyers with added assurance.

The launch event was attended by key industry and government figures, including DOE Energy Utilization and Management Bureau Director Patrick Aquino, DOE EV Industry Management Division’s Andy Ulgado, and FFCCCII President Victor Lim, alongside AITO Philippines executives and EVAP leadership.

Since its Philippine debut at MIAS in April, AITO has expanded to locations in EDSA Greenhills, Mandaue Cebu, and San Fernando Pampanga, with plans for a 6-storey, 3,000-sqm flagship dealership in Quezon City next year.

“Milestones like this bring us closer to our shared vision: a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable transportation landscape for the Philippines,” Araga added.
