Calibr8 Systems, a Philippine-based industrial systems integrator providing end-to-end solutions for IT/OT convergence, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (DOST-PNRI) to advance cooperation in radiation and nuclear science and technology research and development.
The agreement formalizes collaboration between the private technology firm and the government research institute on joint R&D initiatives, with both sides positioning the partnership as a platform to accelerate scientific innovation in nuclear-related fields.
According to the announcement, the partnership covers research collaboration, knowledge exchange, data sharing, and technology transfer, with the aim of supporting broader advancements in science and technology in the Philippines.
The signing was led by Calibr8 Systems CEO Dan Reyes, Founder and Chief Vision/Strategy Officer David Lim III, and DOST-PNRI Director Dr. Carlo Arcilla.
While the release did not disclose specific projects under the agreement, the collaboration signals deeper engagement between private sector systems developers and the country’s nuclear research institution.
