SMA India aims to unlock the Philippines’ potential for the transition to an independent, decentralized, and renewable energy supply. To this end, SMA Solar Technology AG (SMA), a leading global provider of energy solutions and storage systems, is offering the “Philippines Energy Leaders’ Seminar” to explore how to unlock the full potential of inverters beyond PV and storage systems.
“Embracing the energy transition towards renewables in the Philippines is not only a necessity but also a significant opportunity to secure a sustainable future. While the shift towards renewables presents its own set of challenges, it is vital that we take bold steps toward reducing our carbon footprint and preserving the environment for generations to come. With this seminar, we aim to provide participants with valuable insights, knowledge and how together, we can turn the challenges of the energy transition into opportunities for growth, innovation, and positive change.” said Karan Singh, SMA Director of Sales for India, South East Asia, and South Korea.
The seminar, scheduled for March 31, 2023, will bring together industry experts and professionals from various sectors, specifically linking renewable energy, power electronics, and smart grid technology to discuss the optimization of inverters in a wide range of applications. These include microgrids, hybrid systems, grid-forming BESS for power system stability, and intelligent energy management systems.
The “Philippines Energy Leaders’ Seminar” will also bring together key local authorities and industry representatives to discuss and shape the country’s energy transition for a climate-friendly, sustainable future.
